• Notes	Both parents died in 1867 and their sons Horace and Oliver went to live with their paternal grandfather, William Brown, where in 1871 census they are wrongly transcribed as sons instead of grandsons. Two of their daughters, Adelaide and Emma are found at South Street Orphan House, St George, London in 1871 census.
